This summer I plan to climb at least one tree a day, weather permitting.
There are a few things I will do with this blog. Firstly, I will record trees that I climb this summer. Secondly, in the case of rain/boredom, I may occasionally update with tree-related musings.
Climbing trees is fun, and a good way to attain a different view of the world–if only fleetingly.

Hello!
Have you actually climbed a tree every day this summer? If so, and most are in the SF Bay Area, let’s talk. I’d love to do a little story about your quirky quest on our nonprofit nature website, http://www.baynature.org.

As an avid reader of Nothing Too Sappy, I would love to see a story about it somewhere. From when I started reading the blog early this summer I’ve been wondering what motivated Ben to climb trees and write about it, and I’ve learned so much about trees!
Though I make my living cutting down trees for profit, Ben’s blog has made me rethink my occupation. My experience with trees has thus far been limited to lodgepole pines and aspens; Ben has introduced me to the flora of the bay area and beyond. I, too, question the hidden drive behind Ben’s quest… I would love to see a more in-depth article on this elusive man.
This blog has been a ton of fun to read. Any chance we’ll see a link when such an article is written?
